Topic: rear spring up front . info ?

hey guys . i got a parts truck for my truck . it got stock spring . what does it do if i put the rear in front ? or should i wait and save for good spring ? i got a 80 short bed

I'm gonna the ruf soon. It's gonna move your axel forward about 3 inches vs a  independent front end. If you already have a sas done then your only looking at about 2 inches more forward. I have high steer and I am definitely going to have to move the steering box forward. There is a great wright up on in the Toyota bible. (Moving the power steering pump). But the leaf springs you got are way better for flex than even a 4 inch spring than had destroyed.bump stops would be smart also
