Ordering me one right now. Big Mike said shipping is free to Kauai...
You should have a few instructions. My question--------loctite on the bolts? I'm guessing no. FSM torque specs if they have them?I have OCD when my trucks and tools are concerned.
Do i send my core shifter back to N. Maple Ave?
I know I'm over the 30 day limit on the core charge. I was in the hospital. Do you want the old shifter? You can have it for the cost of shipping. I won't need it.
30 days for cores ? well sure hope there may be another exemption, just finally was able to install my chrome out put shaft and clocking adapter today hm ?
Any news on shifter core charge returns?
I am intrigued; there is currently minimal slop in my stock shifter (I already have the MC HD seat and socket installed and that was an improvement after 225000+ kms) so am I still looking at 60% less travel or will it be less than 60% (given that I already have the MC seat and socket installed)?
I have since calculated the reduction in throw to be 40% compared to the stock pattern (both forward-rearward and side-to-side). While our Heavy Duty Shifter Seats (link) and Sockets (link) minimize play once in gear, they do not minimize the distance between each gear position. So the two are unrelated. Perhaps a good way to express the difference with the short throw would be to remember how much of an improvement our HD seat & socket made and then multiply that by about two Regards,BigMike
So I have a quick question.....are the shifters for the 1995-2004 4WD 5VZ-FE R150F Transmission & the 1988-1995 4WD 3VZ-ER150F Transmission the same or are they interchangeable? I have a 1997 3.4L 5 speed SR5, original owner.
