Looking at the pics and seeing how your truck was built, it would cost way too much money to turn it into a crawler.  You need everything a stock IFS truck would, as well as fenders and a bed or flatbed, those wide fiberglass fenders wont last long on a tight trail.  For what it is going to cost you, you could easily build a stock rig, or a built rig.  You can often find stock SA rigs from under $1k, and fully built rigs starting at about $5k.

While the desert look may not be popular in Tahoe, your close enough to Reno, that you should be able to find a buyer for your rig, you might even be able to find someone w/a crawler willing to trade you for your rig.
