I have been doing alot of research on these transmissions and I have a few questions.
From what I could find on the 'net, the R150 is rated around 450 ft-lbs based on it being 40% stronger than a W56 which is rated at around 325 ft-lbs.
The AX-15 is only rated at around 300 ft-lbs despite being a "cousin" of the r150 series. Alot of parts interchange between the two including gears, shafts, bearing, etc.
My biggest question is since so many parts will interchange between the two, why is the AX-15 only rated at 300 ft-lbs?
