Engine shop recommendations please.

I need to have a 22re rebuilt and I would like to know where to look in the Bay Area, Ca for decent shops. 
Does anyone do this in their garage?  Any Connections out there?

Yotaman in Santa Rosa does great work. Specializes in 22r and re. But he is pricey.
