carb loading up

i recently picked up a 84 with a 22r runs good besides it loads up at idle. black smokes like a diesel.. the carb was just rebuilt. maybe just outta adjustment im no carb guy but i kno these stock carbs are tricky any help on what it could be?

lots of things could be going on... check your choke first....

when i first start it it idles up like the choke is working fine. then it starts running like crap i can rev it up over idle runs pretty good let off it starts running like crap and black smoking ..best i can desribe it like i said im no carb guy.
