On my 86 Toyota truck 4x4 5 speed the shifter is pretty sloppy,what parts or kit needed for smooth shifting?This was originally a turbo truck.

Thanks Dave,still not sure if the it's the original tranny in the truck and I'm to crippled up to crawl under and look for a number.Will have a neighbor give it a look see when he has the time.All I need is the seat and the sleeve bushing,correct?

I don't think you will find any model numbers on the trans... At least I can't find any on either my G52(stock in my '84 truck) or my W56b(pull-a-part special $55.). Best way that I have found is to compare your trans to the Marlin identification chart.

3toys,thanks..it was a turbo originally.Just not sure if it's the original tranny.From the charts it would seem to be a R series.

If its stock trans from a 22RET, that would be a R151, I believe.
