Find a pump that matches the output of the stock pump. Mount it as close to the cell as possible, most pumps that I have dealt with are pushers, not pullers. Myself I would modify (cut a hole) in the cell and adapt the stock pump to it.
i buiolt my own fuel cell and cut the hole to fit factory pump/ sending unit
Its a 97 Tacoma stock fuel pump in the KegMy 89 Yota DD has the factory RE pump and tank running the 97 2RZ and works all the same.
Yeah. I would probably do an in line pump with the keg on its side. The bottom of the keg is nice and dome shaped which works well with the pump on top hanging down.
