Topic: Smells like sulfur

When I'm getting on the freeway and going up to about 4k rpms as I get up to speed my truck smells like sulfur really bad. I don't have a catalytic converter, that's why I'm stumped. 94 pickup with a 22re and 190k miles

There are sulfur compounds in gear oil.

Maybe you have a tranny/transfer leak that's burning off on the exhaust..............
