need radiator for my dodge
« on: Mar 19, 2012, 09:52:22 AM »
need help finding a radiator for my dodge van. it is a 1996, 3speed automatic. 3.9l engine. does not have the oil cooler in it, so no HD. it is a 3/4 ton van with a short wheelbase

i have tried the dodge forums with almost no response

basically, here is the deal, van is currently down, it is my DD

needs a radiator, but i dont want to put something into it that isn't going to last

a lot of radiators are plastic tanked..

i want to find it locally, to pleasant hill, ca 94523 or surrounding areas or fairfield, ca

i wont have $ to do this till friday, but i want to buy it, and get it installed friday if possible

have heard the name silla -- all aluminum -- but have heard of they suck, or they leaked, or they are fine.....

have also heard spectra premium -- know nothing about them

open to ideas and suggestions

x2 nothing wrong with them, it's the brand new dance and everyone is doing it. You'll just be wasting your $ for a more expensive custom radiator. You may consider and find out if the V8 radiator will work for you application for better cooling.
