Bertha the Crawler Hauler
« on: Mar 11, 2012, 09:03:49 PM »
So it is a 95 suburban with a sb350. it has the 4l60e tranny with and external tranny cooler. The plans are to upgrade the rear axle to an 06 3/4 truck axle with disk brakes and then put some 3/4 ton rear springs. do the 8 lug conversion in the front. Then do the bridgestone air bags. Then once the tranny and or engine gos out i am going to w\swaping in a 5.9 cummins 12 valve with a suncoast tranny.

just curious as to how come you dont have the runner back further to help distribute the weight over both rear axles of the trailer/ looks liek the tongue weight is really killing the suburban..... i am assuming the sub is a 1500?
