I was inquiring around to try to learn about the 6 speed transmission in the 2005 Tacoma with an eye on it as a potential swap candidate for use with high power motors like the 7M-GTE. At least I know now that the Tacoma tranny is identified by the model number "RA60". I'm hoping it has some relation to the 6 speed that was in the last generation of the turbo Supra, which is quite a bit beefier than the R150 tranny family. The Supra 6 speed has an input shaft of 1.25" (1-1/4") compared to 1.125 (1-1/8") on the R150 series. The Supra unit was the V160. If anyone can shed any light on the configuration and specs of the Tacoma 6 spd I'd like to hear about it. -- Matt
