Topic: Double Cardan Joint

Hi,

Are the universal joints that go inside the double cardan joint the same as the other universal joints on the front and rear drive shafts?

They are not normally replaceable nor does Toyota sell them, sold completely built and are considered not rebuildable. There is at least one thread here explaining how to do what Toyota says can't be done was recently a topic so should be easy to locate. (if search is working)

You can get OEM joints from High Angle Driveline in Paradise, CA.

You can also get them at NAPA, they are NAPA joints not OEM.

I got it in their parts catalog under "1980 TOYOTA PICKUP 2.2L L4 : Drivetrain : Universal Joint"

Could this be the right one?
