anyone know where to get a Sidewall repaired in Fresno
« on: Feb 13, 2012, 07:30:58 PM »
Got a pair of Brand new looking Irok radials but both have sidewall punctures. I heard big rig shops might do vulcanizing repair or hot patch but not who to call.

How about an inner tube if it's not structural...

Don't use a tube if it's a radial

Yeah I just hate to toss em with all that tread, they would make great trail spares, I just want to get the best repair possible. I bought a sidewall boot patch and some vulcanizing glue and patched one but I just don't know if I trust it if I had to air it down on the trail, seems like that patch would come off when flexing.

I don't think overheating would be a problem with a tube and a trail only tire.........
