22r Idle drop/surge
« on: Oct 05, 2011, 07:12:31 AM »
Ok so I  got most of my other minor issues out of the way, Now… when I start the truck it fires right up and then idle drops and then surges back up.
1982 22r carb, Got a rebuilt long block and swapped it in.
I’m thinking Vacuum hose or carb issue? Maybe the distributor vac advance. I’m ready to drive this thing!!!

Hope the video link works.

Thanks for any help!

I had a similar problem and it ended up being a faulty fuse, I think the fuse controls the electric choke.
