Probably just coincidence, but of the 4 deer I saw in the woods today, 3 were bucks and one was a shooter. A little later in the year and he'd be dead for sure, just trotted over the side of the hill when he saw me then slowly made his way down a cut while eating. I snapped some pics that I haven't yet loaded, but I doubt they'll turn out since it was too close to dusk and my camera doesn't take good low light pics.
