2" hitch receiver
« on: Aug 15, 2011, 10:18:42 AM »
I want to mount a 2" hitch receiver on my rig. I have 1.75" DOM for the lower hoop. Is there a ready made weld on bracket setup I could use or do I have to fab something? I don't have a plasma etc to cut a square hole for the receiver tube. Want to do something like the Marlin Crawler bumper. Wonder if they would sell the individual parts so I could weld it to my setup?
Besides having a recovery point, I plan to have a removable mud flap bar that I could plug into the receiver to make me street legal.

You dont need a plasma cutter to make a square hole, make where you want the tube to go, drill a 1/2inch hole at the corners then use a cut off wheel in a grinder.
Dr.Maxwe001 – well i have a 15 gal compressor now and if I gett he 60  and then use the 15 as a reserve that wil give me 75 gal  thats close to 80 isnt it ?
