I'm sure a few of you have seen this but The King of The Hammers race has announced that they are going to have a Stock Class race and it will be a part of the main course. It seems the word "stock" is a relative term and means that it be a full-bodied rig with only moderate upgrades. There are some limitations and Infernal is already dq'ed.

Haha if I could I'd aim for this year, but if all goes well, a year from now I should have my BS and hopefully a job so I can make this happen 2013. I don't even care about winning, I just want to get out there and race. Offroad racing has been a dream of mine for a long time, this is the first time I have felt like it was within my grasp. So I've got 2 years to get it all figured out.

I know what you mean. I got my BA and I still don't make enough money. I've wanted to race for a long time now and my truck, and DD, has suffered because of it

. If I can change my living arangments and start saving some money, I might be able to buy a tow vehicle/DD. Then! I may be able to think about racing this thing

For sure. I set an optimistic 2 year goal to get my ducks in a row. I really want to do this though. I started my 2013 Toyota KOH truck fund today. $60 so far.

Anyone read in the rules that Dual cases are not allowed? I read it and it says any transfer case is allowed. It didn't elaborate.

I asked a buddy of mine that is directly involved with KOH he refered me to the pirate board and said that all questions should be addresse there. He's not involved with the rules he mainly deals with the media and mapping the course.

this should be interesting to watch. I sure hope eveyone one that runs it has really good winches. I can't see them getting through much on 35's at hammers. I had a hard enough time on 37's. It will be a good show though.
