Very capable "Chevota" family truckster...
« on: Jun 12, 2011, 07:31:44 AM »
SOLD
1992 Toyota 4Runner body
1986 Toyota 4Runner frame/SAS’d with ruf and chevy’s.
1994 Chevrolet 4.3L V6/4L60E automatic transmission
This is a truly great running rig that crawls well, drives down the road perfectly, and is able to pack a lot of gear in it with 4 people as well.  No mechanical issues whatsoever…runs, shifts, turns, and stops like a stocker.  In addition has ice cold ac, a great CD/IPOD hookup stereo with 2 8 inch subs, a working sunroof, limo tint all the way around, and recently passed AZ emissions with flying colors.  I’m going in a new direction, so this beast needs to be sold to help fund some parts.  Anyway, here are the specs.
1994 Chevy 4.3/4l60e auto./single case with Marlin 4.7 gears in it and twin sticks…absolutely great crawl combination.
Brand new aluminum radiator.
Front 85 Solid Axle with 4.88’s and Lockright locker.  RUF’s up front.  Hi-steer.
Rear IFS Axle with 4.88’s and Detroit locker.  63” ¾ ton Chevy’s (the good ones) in the rear.
Also have spare axles for both side fronts and a rear.
107” wheel base
5 Nearly new 35” BFG KM’s mounted on black steelies.
2 inch spacers in front and 1 inch spacers in the rear.
Custom front bumper with newer Smittybilt winch.
Custom rear plate bumper with receiver…very stout.
Custom sliders.
On board air.
Clean fabrication throughout...this is not a hacked together rig.
Interior is in decent shape, but both front seats have some wear and tear.
Everything works including power windows, power locks, sunroof, rear window, etc.
As stated, great running rig that has been a great crawler, DD, and expedition rig.  Feel free to ask any questions.
Located in Phoenix, AZ…asking $7000 obo.

BTW, I didn't mention it but it is REALLY NICE being able to run 70+ mph UP hills without breaking a sweat after owning several 22re's.   I also wouldn't hesitate to daily drive this rig as it's been absolutely bullet proof reliable for me and drives really good.

TBI...simple reliability.  I ran a similar motor in a buggy for a long time and it was an awesome performer.

I keep looking at it and thinking about how cool it'd be with a 60/14b combo...buy it before I start hacking.  :talkingn:
