just bought my 85 runner with nearly 300,000 miles on it. my friends thought i was crazy buying a 4runner with so many miles... but i bet they wont think i'm so crazy after another 100,000 or so...

My 85 has 1,237,XXX first engine was rebuilt 2 times before I built a new engine for it at 1,236,XXX. The W56 trans is still in good shape but I exchanged it for a r150/r151f hybrid when I went to duals. Both Diffs made the million but have been changed out with a Hi-pinion in the front and a V6 in the rear.

Wow that there is a lot of miles. It needs to be recognized by Toytota or something lmao. I dont know of many light duty stuff with that many miles

1,000,000 miles is nuts. My 85 has 174k on the body and 21k on the 3rz swap, 15k on the drivetrain.

Went to LCE's dual-row timing chain conversion after the 2nd timing chain skipped some teeth.....

Burns a little oil, but the compression is ~ 190 on all cylinders and worst cylinder is 5% leakdown.

150,00 on r150 trans
Unknown mileage on both of my cases
Less than 2,000 miles on my marlin adaptor
5 months on rear diff.

early 1980... 1,378,OOO... motor in it right now has been in it previously, second time around for this 1980 celica 20r, 700 miles this incarnation,runs sweet
1982...78,OOO....choice... nothin butchered,runs and looks way sweet
