Detroit Locker...Big bucks.

Marlin Crawler...not so much.

Besides everyone...everyone who wheels Toyota's knows about Marlin. Not every mouth-breather who buys a truck knows about lockers.  :dunno:

Usually big corporations like Warn or Eaton (Detroit Locker) pay big sponsorship dollars to fund the events where the videos are made.   They also front the money to produce the videos.  Marlin is basically a mom and pop business for a specialized corner of the off road industry.

If you've ever seen any of Peterson's Ultimate Adventure series everyone that is invited is either a sponsor, magazine staff or a couple of readers.  The sponsors provide support and logistics for the event and parts to build the magazine's truck.

Some of the best vids are the overseas "Winch Challenge" videos.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

I like the specialized mom n pop idea and would much rather support it than the big corporation.
