Topic: Dual cases???

Has anyone done dual 231s in a 97 or 98 tj? Im not a jeep guy but a buddy of mine has one and wants dual cases but does know where to start. I wasnt sure how it would work with the jeeps short wheelbase. any help would be greatly appriciated.

I knew a guy that had duals in his tj but i can't remember cases he used. I do know the crawl box was vaccuum operated and then the main case had an actual shifter. But anyways his rear driveline was so short, maybe a little more then a foot. His jeep was very low though and he was running 33's and he absolutely loved that setup.

i hear theres a way you can use dual toyota cases since jeeps came with the AX-15..

I've seen dual 231s, but not in a TJ.  Buddy of mine had a 231/300 in his TJ, and his rear driveshaft was pretty short.  Seeing as the 231 is about 6" longer than a Dana 300, I think you're going to be pushing the driveshaft issue.
