From what I've seen and been told it's a Downey header and pics are in the For Sale/WTB thread in the CO section. I may have some in the regular For Sale area... but here's some now:

I have a length of 2.5" pipe with the v-band clamp that will go with it as well. That HAC went out today; look for it next week.

Been REALLY busy with my truck and with work, but here's the update! I got the trans and the new dual case setup in and bolted to the motor and ALSO....... SHE RUNS!!! :willynilly: She started right up and runs great and  runs super quite! The crappy thing is that i cant drive her until i get my rear drive shaft back from the shop. But did break in the camshaft since thats all i can do for now. Its been a really exciting couple days for me. Hopefully i will have some good PICS up in a couple days. Cant wait to  :driving: it!

Wow I love the engine. I want mine to look like that. Well once I get all my suspension finish I'm going to try rebuilding my 22r, never done anything like that but I would hopefully learn and not f**k the engine to bad :), if I do I'll have to buy a new one

pics of the engine in running order...

Still breaking in the motor but am having a little hesitation problem that i am sure has to do with my high float level but is still drivable. OH!....AND THE MARLIN DUAL ULTIMATE'S ARE AWESOME!!!! :yikes:

Here's a crappy pic of the Marlin Dual Ultimate's....

Thanks. It has been a long time coming with the motor and dual case setup but TOTALLY worth it! I will continue to update as a go. The 5.29's and dual e-lockers are next on the list along with lifting it about three inches with RUF and F150 springs in the rear!  :turtlehead:...then power steering with high steer :willynilly:

It'd look better without all that smog crap...   :disturbed:  I forgot to get the HAC mounting bracket; do you want it? The HAC itself sits under the wiper motor; there oughta be bolt holes for it. Kinda near the fuel feed/return lines.

So far me too...Considering i haven't even driven anything with 4.70's, let alone Dual Ultimate's!...... it was definitly  a pleasant experience the first time i dropped it into double low !

Ya, Eric I will take you up on that offer. I need come over one of these days within the next few weeks. How long did it take you to do yours from start to finish?

I know! tell me about it! I forgot to Tell you thanks after i received the HAC in the mail, so First and foremost...Thanks Again! and as far as the bracket goes, its no big deal. I need to find time to figure out exactly how to hook it up because i have never seen one in person. You have any pics by chance?

it will probably take a couple of hours.  It should be faster on yours now that I know what I am doing..at least I think I do.   Maybe on a saturday or sunday after church. let me know when you want to bring the cherry picker back over to my dads!  cant wait to see that engine up close, that thing is emaculate!!

HAC hook-up: Color-coded makes stuff easier to sort out.

The vac line on the bottom goes to the distributor.

Hopefully a couple updates coming pretty soon. However i Dont think my rings ever "set in" (Rock Brand). so i may be pulling the motor to re-ring it as well as doing an EFI swap! :crossed: Stay tuned..

Your engine bay looks killer! Do me a favor and learn from my mistakes. When you go wheeling, clean it after every trip and it'll always look that clean!

I started slacking and now cannot get the new engine bay shine like I use to. There's just something cool about having a badass wheeler that is all a clean machine.

Well the truck is on Non-op so i can work on the motor. Gonna pull the motor and re-ring it and MAYBE have the motor balanced. Then i can really get started on the suspension. I have 35-12.5/15 BFG km2's on order, need to install the e-lockers, finish the RUF, install F-150 springs in rear, and a couple other odds and ends .... I have been postponing messing with the motor because i'm working on buying an EFI parts truck from a guy that lives by me, so i can convert this one to EFI, But only time will tell!?

here's the truck sitting in my shop awaiting for me to pull the motor
