Which Dana 44 for tacoma SAS

New on here and i tried a search with out any luck. My question is i found a 1989 grand wagoneer and a 79 wagoneer which front end would be desired if either to put under a 98 4x4 tacoma?

$100 is the average on craigslist might be as high as 600 including gears lockers and chromoly shafts

the 79 should have flat top knuckles for cross over steering,

if you're lucky enough to find a cherokee 44, you don't have to shorten it. you just have to cut off coil perches and weld new perches for the springs.

Thanks i believe the 89 with the driver side drop is the one i will gett but will the nuckles off of the 79 work with the 89 for the cross over steering?
