Does anyone know if you can put a pre taco imput shaft in a taco R150F tranny?

they are different lengths and I believe the gears will not mesh.

I looked into doing the same thing. Taco R150 with older R150 input basically to move the slave to the other side and it was a no-go by the info that I got.

Are you doing a 3.4 swap or something?

herse all the info i got so far looks like its going to work. and im doing a jdm 1uz-fe swap in my 98 4runner

all i am worried about is the imput gear and im pretty sure there the same in all R150F trannys. i know the shaft length is diffrent but im set up for a pre taco shaft, thats my problem. i need a shorter shaft because my bellhousings the length of a pre taco tranny.
