What size of tires do you roll under your crawler and why?

Most of run any where from 35 " to 40" tires around the greater northwest area. But we all are in the tree and rugged tight stuff lol . I will probably only run 35" for my first set as I don't do a whole lot of wheeling these days. So I don't need to go all out right now . I have been running 32" wild country's since 05 and they work well for what I do . They actually surprise a lot of people of where I've been after I have got my truck set up besides the lift . It really all depends on what your actually do int he long run as far as wheeling goes and size . Many people say go big . But they smaller down size tires 36" to 32" to just find . Its all in the brand and how well they are set up .

Stats : 85 Toyota 22RE , 3" body lift, 32" wild country's, Duel Marlin, Lock rights front and rear, full inside cage.

I drive , I wheel , I crawl , I am Toyota

If you dont do a whole lot of wheeling and its your daily driver 35s are a great all around tire. I run 35x12.50 BFG A/Ts and they are great for what they are. They are great in the sand and on the road. On the road in the snow/rain they are awesome. They dont do well in the snow off off road, under load they barely grip, but dry crawling aired down they grab nicely. They suck in the mud you have to air them down for it to work. My rig weighs about 4,000 pounds and i have 20,000 on these tires and they look brand spankin new!

Cheap 35s, more in the tire pressure vs thread design on the rocks. On toy gear 37 seem to be the sweat spot.

I run 37 on my 93, I wouldn't go any bigger if you haven't upgraded your axle shafts. I started with 36 swampers then upgraded to 37 toyos. I ran stock birfs for about a yr then upgraded to full chromoly shafts. Thinking about going down to 35 so it'll make hard trails even more challenging. Staying with Toyo Open Country, awsome on road and trail...it's my DD
