It is either a gear driven or chain driven case. (from the website)

There is a chain driven case that drives on the same side as the gear driven case. The shifter will come out the top of the tcase or the tail housing of the transmission.
The other thing you need to know is if it is 23 or 21 spline. That should be easy if it is apart already ;)
