From what I've seen LC's Dyno was having some issues so they didn't get a solid number but John said it was right about 100 RWHP.

That's on 37" Krawlers on Walkers. John told me he's hoping BFG will set him up with some Projects at the event.

Thanks for the update Brendan. Both Bevin and my 3RZ's got a hair over 100 wheel horse power with the stock ECU. I was hoping they could pickup some power by using the SDS engine management. I was hoping to see around 120 whp. It will be great to see the final power band. It is likely they were able to broaden the power band but not able to increase the "peak" output maybe.

Of course a wider power band is superior, and that is exactly what the 3RZ offers

John is now 1 of only 2 drivers to start and finish all 5 KOH races. He crossed the line physically in 23rd place.

Correct me if I am wrong.. He has also finished those 5 races without a flat.

I couldn't attend the event but received many updates throughout the day! Great job John!! Starting at 80-something and running into that 30-car pile-up didn't help at all yet you guys still placed a great finish! Many

Some day... neat to see the great consistency though!

Congrats to John and Mike!!  I saw them at Outer Limits on the second lap.  They were in the top 15 or so trucks to go through there on the second lap.  Funny to watch all the big V8 buggies having to rely on RPM to crawl up it but John just about idles the whole thing!!

Who is the other driver to finish all 5 Hammers?

JR. Up until last year Hobie was the 3rd but he and Mark had to call it after resolution this year.

Hobie broke a tie rod (?) at the bottom of Sunbonnet, ran back to remote pit and sent parts to the car via another racer.  His co driver fixed the car and flopped it on Resolution.  (this is as close as I remember it)  KOH was a blast, I should have spent more time meeting you guys (I was the guy that showed up looking for a welder just after you buried it in the truck :gap: ).  I was helping out with the In the Pink F-Toy.  Mike broke what was believed to be an input shaft in the TC at the top of Sunbonnet. Great times.
