Personally I have never shot a Glock that I liked. They feel funny in my hands. The Springfield XDs are some of the most comfortable semi auto handguns I have ever shot.

All I've got so far is a 1933 M-91/30 and a 1944 M-44. 7.62x54r.

Recently bought a ton of .40 so the next purchase is going to be a .40, most likely a S&W.

Need more ammo...

Nope, sorry. ;) But I know where you can get a ton of it for super cheap. Check out Miwall Corp at gunshows, they have loads of surplus 7.62x54 and its priced really cheap. When I worked for them I used to pick up 500 rounds for way less than $100. Maybe they will still kick me a deal....  :gap:

just bought a remington 870hd 12g and a springfield XD 9mm today. I pick them up on the 16th. The XD was a sweet deal you get the gun 2 magazines and holsters plus a mail in paperwork to get 3 more magazines and a pouch for $399. :gap:

wanna sell?

Not really.

I've found good prices on
Cheaperthandirt, impactguns, and gunbroker.

All have decent prices. You'll always find someone who paid less or more, just depends on what's available, who you know, and what your requirements are.

Drew, the mil spec of the AR is a base design. Different companies go above and beyond to different extents, some to make a good gun, others to save some $$.

This can range from a different twist in the rifling, to a different method of testing the pieces of the gun. Some companies batch test, others sue individual testing of the parts.

My next AR will be a BCM, the one I got is.a bushmaster LEO model.

i know the last colt i shot fit pretty poorly well between the upper and lower. i still dont think that the colts are worth the price. esp since u can build your own with match grade parts for less than a colt.

I have a match grade AR that requires more attention. If ii purchase another one it will be a Colt since i really do not need to have 1/4 inch groups or less for a battle rifle.   I have served 19 years in the Military and that rifle has never failed me...I have friends who own dpms, bushmasters and others and the quality is just not there. (price is better).
As far as the lower goes who Cares what one you use. They are just a place to put the internals into...
When I purchase Firearms I always purchase the ones that have the higher resale value....

Nice to see a few AR fans here! Got a S&W M&P15 Lower with DPMS 5.56 upper. Thing will shoot quarters @ 100 yards I love it. I got a bug in my ass a few months ago to do the bipod/scope setup so I swapped the rear iron sight with a Magpul fold down ( I don't like it  :( ) and put a Redfield 3-9x40 and have been loving it.

I've got too much :pokinit: to post here, and don't know if i would want to post everything i have  :conf: but the AR and Smith Model 4506 are my usuals.
