hey guys my 22re finally gave out. i have a donor ready to put in, but i want to know were can i buy a good head gasket and a new timing chain. i just figured since i am already there i should replace them... thanks

Dave Hiat Machine in Clovis CA sells really good Toyota components thats where I got mine.  The brand is Rock.  Most of the time they have it on the shelf if not within a day or two.

engnbldr.com tedd is a great guy to deal with and have a great product. i just got done rebuilding my engine with all of his stuff.

If you have the later model plastic guides, make sure you at least replace them with the nylon/steel guides...........

LC Engineering also has the dual-row conversion kit...........

Toyota for the head gasket and water pump, enginebuilder for everything else.  He also sells stuff on ebay  ;)

engbldr.com sells great parts for a good price. On top of that he is a good guy. Get one from him and don't worry about it.

However if it were a 3RZ... NOTHING but factory head gaskets on that bad boy!
