Red cat "rock slide" RS10

I just found this rock crawler and was wondering if this would be a good first rc crawler.  There only $160.00 with rear steer. I'm not sure how to do the link thing so here's the web site www.redcatracing.com thanks check out the "cool vids on youtube" :dunno:

the one ive seen in person was complete crap. cheap junk that didnt not work well at all
84 xtra cab, dauls W/4.7, 5.29s, detroit rear/arb front, caged, longs, recentered H1s and 37s, my DD

if i was you i would save another 70 bucks and buy the axial rtc.  i bought the redcat and it sucks, It is hugely underpowered.  you have to change a bunch of stuff to make it work right

alright it was just a thought, I really like the axial but I was just checking

the redcat is cool if u put lower turn motors in it so it goes faster..there kinda fun for cheap though.. i still like my axial more though

also on the cheaper side you could try the venom creeper, i put one together recently and it seemed to have a fairly well thought out setup. didnt get to see it actually crawl but i kinda liked the design
