82 space cab? info??

just picked it up. Any info on these things was told they only made a few hundred..

Is it the custom cab conversion which was done with the 2nd gen trucks?

Post some pics using a free hosting site like photobucket.com or imagebam.com.

 its a 82 for sure space cab must of been for mitsus.

Mitzubishi had a factory truck called the Space cab, but I have never heard of Toyota having one by that name.    Toyota had the Trekkar and Trailblazer(preludes to the 4-Runner )built on the 1st gen platform, and the Custom/King Cab built on the 2nd gen platform.  It could be a home built one-off rig.

Kind cab is a Nissan trademark.  The toyotas I've seen like brainless's were a custom cab upgrade, though there may have been others making them too.

Yes I know that Datsun/Nissan called their large cab trucks King Cabs, but I have also seen the Custom Cabs called King Cabs.  If the conversion was done as a Toyota option like the Trailblazer and Trekkars were, the trademark rights would not necessarily apply, similar to Chevy using the name Trailblazer for a production model, whereas Toyota used it first as a conversion package.
