Topic: Should I bob a Long or short bed???

I have a 82 yota 4WD and want to bob the bed on it.  It currently has a clean shortbed, but I have heard its better to use a long bed.  Is there any pros or cons to using short/long beds?  Thanks

A bobbed long bed could hold more stuff.

if u bob a longbed for a shortbed.....dont u get a shortbox

If you use a the shortbed you dont have to rework any of the body/frame mounts..  You will have to unbolt the rear section down so you can cut it out and if you bob the longbed it will not mount correctly...  Its better to bobb what you have on your truck... I had a shortbed... I dont pack much.  Ijust packed my cooler, spare tire, tools, driveshafts, parts and my clothes in a drybag behind the seat...  It fitted fine in the bed...
