it did get quieter by adjusting to .007 & .011 and insalling a new valve gasket, but its still louder than I feel it should be. I got to thinking that the timing could have an effect on it. Am I thinking right? So, I rechecked it and it was a little advanced that it should be so, I played with the idle and timing to get it to specs and plan to recheck the valve adjustment.
