New General Grabber Question RACE VERSION
« on: Sep 08, 2010, 08:26:54 PM »
Has anyone purchased these and test off road?  I have a hook up for a 160.00 dollars for 35. 17x9.   Smoking deal with a tight budget.

RIP KYOTA

You can go through life being scared of the possible, or you can have a little fun and tease the inevitable.

Give a man venison, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to hunt Blacktail, he'll be frustrated for life!

I know one of the magazines tested the race version and said while it does excellent in the conditions it was designed for and hooks up very well in the corners, the carcass is just way too stiff to attempt using it for rock crawling.  They aired one down to almost nothing, stuck it on a rock and the tire barely flexed at all.

They are a desert racing tire not a 4wheelin tire. I know a few teams that use them on their race cars the like them for desert racing. But i'll stick with bfg's been racing on em for 5 years only 2 flats
