Air modification
« on: Aug 25, 2010, 10:05:37 AM »
Hello again, got a air mod question. On my 94 yota I've read I can swap the bat. Box with the air box. All my computor stuff is on the bat. Box side. Is it okay to run a longer positive cable off my battery? Distance should not make a difference should it?  I've read shorter air hose and getting the air hose off top of radiator makes a huge difference in the heat  the intake takes in. Has anyone done this and how did you do it? Thanks

You can move the battery anywhere you want to. You should use a bigger gauge wire (smaller number) for both the main cable that goes to the starter and the secondary wire that goes to the fuse block. There is no computer under the hood, the main ECU is in the PS kick panel. Many people move that one up to keep it out of the water on deep water water crossings

Here is where I moved mine to.
