Ok, so  my 89 camry keeps "almost" dying or stalling when I press the gas at a stop sign. its intermittent so I dont know how to test it. I unplugged the TPS and it doesnt SEEM to be having the problem, but how would I know untill it happens?

runs the same TPS as my 87 4runner.

only problem with leaving it unlpugged is that its also the kickdown for the transmission so it upshifts as soon as possible and WILL NOT downshift to speed up.

any ideas
Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working. Find a place to GET OUT, air up, un-lock hubs,  WAIT whats this, hubs are UN-LOCKED already. 2wd, 8psi, stock tires, Oregon sand dunes.

Adjust the TPS and see if it makes a difference.
