rims work great if you had some to spare and just weld them together like they do in the junk yards. usually they wont work with a really droopy syspention  unless you did 2 on the base.
i had to build some and went down to my local locally owened tire shop and he had about 20 bent rims and he just gave me 4 of them for free

Here are more pics of recent progress.

Just trying to get an idea of where to position this spring hanger, keeping shackle angle in mind. I am still prepping axle and waiting on other parts.

Would appreciate some advice on best approach for mounting shock hoops :dunno: My Trail-Flex kit ended up being All-Pro parts so the shock hoop braces appear to be a little different.

I picked up a Hobart Handler 140 off CL brand-new in box for $400.00 so I get to see how good of a first-time welder I am :eyebrow: Wish me luck :ha_ha:

Your hanger looks about 1/2" foward to stock. I welded mine in stock locations, if I could redo I would have probably moved an 1.5" from stock. I have 6" shackles though

115V welder. I am very novice at this welding thing. I am hoping a better helmet and shielding gas will improve my learning curve.

Question: I am considering a 1" body lift. Anybody got any ideas for the best approach?

I have decided that I really want an L52 to replace the L43 that I have in this truck. I obtained a core and am wondering if anyone can give me some feedback about Marlins core refund policy. Here are a couple pics of the core. It is complete but has been sitting outside for I don't know how long. Lots of rust inside. Would they laugh and throw it in the dumpster? Is it even worth sending? $400.- is alot for a core charge.
