....okay I am not sure if I can make the changes now :( Apparently the settings are locked out. I am going to email ESPN and see if I can get it changed to just 1 division.

OK GUYS!! I figured out how to balance the schedule but at the cost of the schedule being randomly reordered.

What this means is that the entire schedule was reordered so all the match-ups from this past weekend changed and therefore the results changed.

So please take a look at the 1st week's results here: http://games.espn.go.com/ffl/scoreboard?leagueId=824374&matchupPeriodId=1

Again, I will repeat, FIRST WEEK RESULTS HAVE CHANGED AS A RESULT OF REMOVING ALL BYE WEEKS

For instance, I originally had defeated Team Hobbs, but now with the rearranged schedule, I have now lost to Team Petty. So I was a 1-0 and now I am a 0-1.

The scores didn't change, but the match-ups have changed. So if you had a lot of points in the first place, then you are likely to still have defeated your opponent in the new arrangement.

I am sorry for this, but honestly, this is the best thing to do to eliminate all bye weeks, even out the schedule, and if we didn't do it right now, we'd be doing it 4 or 5 weeks into the season which would have been an even bigger change.

I hope everyone can understand the need to remove the bye weeks and can live with the new 1st week results.

Thanks Mike.

I don't mean to be continually bitching but I also don't understan the whole "undroppable" player thing.  ESPN fantasy sports has certain players listed as undroppable I guess to prevent the same person from creating multiple teams to stack one team full of good players.  Because of this I have 3 of my starters that I can't drop.  Does anyone else have the problem?

It might be because you are required to have a minimum number of positions filled in your roster at all time. For instance, you must have at least 2 running backs at all time. So if you only have 2 RBs, then the system will not allow you to drop 1. You can only substitute the player with another RB.

Was this the issue? :headscratch:

Holy cow! Okay, so maybe they make them undroppable so that no one team acquires all the great players. I will look into our settings to see if it can be changed

EDIT: Yeah... it looks like these can't be modified :(

Ya I saw that undroppable as well. I was frustrated with Mathews and noticed it wouldnt let me drop him. Maybe it saved me.

Damn Mudslinger got me again. At least this time is was respectable unlink the 100 point drubbing I got last week. Only 6pts or so this time and at least I lost on Monday night rather than Sunday morning by 11:30am. LOL

Can't wait to play someone else!!!!!!!!!!!

It worked out ok.  I wanted to drop Knowshon Moreno but he did pretty good this week.

It looks like my luck from last year is carrying over to this year.  I always seem to get matched up with the top point earner of the week.  I got 216.5 points and it wasn't enough to win.

That is the waiver system

I also added Maclin but it said I was like #7 in line and I had to wait until like 5pm Thursday.

The waiver system is setup so that who ever is in last place in the league gets first pick to add players to their roster. The last place player probably is able to add players Mon night or early Tues morning. Whereas whoever is like undefeated and has a really strong team, they will always be last in line to add new players to their team.

This helps balance the league

dont feel bad. I had 243.5 and lost by two. Green Bay doesnt fumble that last drive Monday night and I win, or if that hail mary before the half wasnt an interception....i win.

You want to talk frustrating.   I have the 3rd most points in the league but I still have a losing record because I have by far the most points scored against me.

I've been dealing with 3 injured running backs for the past month, Moreno, Thomas and Mcfadden.   At least McFadden made up for it last week.   Thomas can't seem to get healthy and Moreno, who has been "undroppable" until recently hasn't done crap since he's been back.

I hear ya, injuries have been killing me but I've been lucky to have won a lot of games. I had Dallas Clark, one of the best tight ends, he is out... I had DeMeco Ryans, a great line backer, he is out... Then my 1st and 3rd draft picks, Chris Johnson (RB) and Andre Johnson (WR) have booth been battling injuries all season, and now my 2nd draft pick, Romo (QB) is gone :ha_ha:

Fantasy Football is awesome, it is really unpredictable and is very challenging :yesnod:

Try trading up some of your players who aren't performing.   At this point what do you have to lose?

Ok.  I've had enough of this Randy Moss drama.   He hasn't done crap all year and now Minnesota just released him.   Unfortunately ESPN seems to think he's still an elite player and is still undroppable so I'm stuck with him.

I have replaced just about everyone on my lineup as others drop guys. Ryan Mathews is also an "elite" player so his 3-5 point per week are undroppable.

I'll keep trying!!

OK......I smell a win this week! Damn it, I CANNOT lose to Jeep guy!!!!

First win of the year forthcoming!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like you got one this week.....and you beat a 5-3 team.  I guess you found a good combination of players.  Congrats.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.
