Toyota SR5 and non SR5
« on: Jun 03, 2010, 08:52:56 PM »
I was wondering if it was possible to put the whole gauge cluster from a SR5 into another that doesnt have a tachometer if the wiring would work or just plug in to operate the tach :dunno:

Everything would be plug in, but you need to get the SR5 sending units too. You may also need to hook up the tach.

You need to change the oil pressure sender for sure. some trucks you don't need to wire in the tac some you do.

nope its pretty easy. What year? If its a second gen there is a blue plug that goes to the cluster on the left side. there is 2 yellow wires there is one with a green tracer you need to install the tac wire next to it on slot 7. Its the slot on the part with the clip on it. right next to the break in the connector.
