Topic: C clip ?

  Went to the Toyota dealership today to see if they could get me the c clips i need for the solid front axel im building he wasnt sure what i was needing and neither im I. So my ?'s are the c clips for an 84 and an 85 the same? And do I need a c clip inside by the 3rd member and one on the outside by the lockout hubs? Sorry hope that makes scents to someone that can help. Thanks

not too sure if they are the same or not but im pretty sure you only need the one on the end of the birfield by the lockout hubs

They are the same. There is one on the inner axle inside the birf also.

So I would only need 2 total if the birf's are together already. 1 one each side by the lockout hub. Thanks for your help

He has a computer he can pull up breakdowns of assemblies too, so even if he didn't know what you were talking about, he still shoulda been able to pull up a pic, turn the moniter toward you and have you point at what you need.

Yes, but not all of them are the same. As said earlier Marlin sells them.
