Fuel Economy Survey
« on: Apr 03, 2003, 04:49:19 AM »
Hello all,

I'm trying to get an idea of what kind of gas mileage folks are getting out of their 22RE's.  I have a '92 x-cab and get a little better than 17.  This is OK, but I think i could squeeze a few more out.

What are you getting and what do you think?

this is cool, most threads back from the dead are stuff thats been sold 3 years ago!!!

I have a 90 montero v6 now an get about 15mpg stock with 33's and 2.5" cat/exhaust on the freeway, in town sucks!

Gas is pretty cheap, but now we are losing jobs and junk, so this is still a good thread i think.

brainssssss!

My stock 93 runner w/3.0 auto gets 14 avg per tank, it got 23 on the highway though.
My 87 runner sas'd 22RE auto 5.29's w/35's gets about 17 avg per tank, haven't checked the highway mileage yet but I'm pretty sure it's better than 23.
