Do you need just the engine or are you doin an efi conversion?  Depending on how much of it you need I might have one available, but I'm not totally sure yet what the condition is.  I kinda wanna keep the efi intake for a project, but would possibly be willing to part with the long block.  Oh yea, I'm in redding, I think we've pm'd before,    Nate

I know of one from an 89 Runner, I BELIEVE that he is still selling it for $200, rebuilt.

I need a long block for my celica.  I would like to do the efi conversion in the truck eventually but too many other things taking priority!  is the one in redding running?  let me know as I don't need the efi stuff this would werk great!  I was thinking of keeping the one from the car for the truck and replacing it with a new one but the funds aren't there!

The one in Redding was runnin prior to the runner rolling.  They messed up some wiring from rolling it and it hasn't been started since, so that's why I'm not totally sure, but he had just purchased it from a dealer a year prior too.  Lemme know if you're plannin on being in the area on a weekend and you can run out with me and check it out,   Nate

Weather permitting I'm gonna run out and see what I can do about the wiring on the runner and see if it'll start, and maybe do a compression check if it's ok.  I'll let you know afterward incase you're still interested.  I'm kinda afraid to see if it'll start, then I might wanna rebuild the truck,   Nate

I really gotta apologize, but I never got enough time to go out there this weekend.  I have a lotta outside crap messin with me right now, and probably won't get another chance till next weekend, once again weather permitting.  Did you need the efi intake, long or short block?  Depending on what you need I might be able to hook you up with another engine.  I haven't bought the truck yet, but if enough people are interested in parts I'll pick it up and part it out.  I have someone that might be interested in it, but if they don't want it you have first dibs, and I know for sure it runs.  It's not efi, but it's an 86 and I think they're essentially the same.  Lemme know if this will work for you and I'll keep you posted on what's going on with that truck, and that engine will be available sooner than the runner engine,   Nate

I need an EFI long block, But would buy a complete EFI engine and intake if I could get one. just fewer parts I have to get when I do the EFI swap into the truck.
