AW4 in my auto 4runner? ford one ton axles? drivers drop
« on: Apr 20, 2010, 05:29:47 PM »
Ok, so Im just wondering what I would have to do to run an AW4 in my automatic 4runner??? its a 22re with an a340 tranny right now.
Im not planning this any time soon... but might have to down the line.
let me know what I need to know.
bellhousings.... torque converters.... crossmembers.... transfer cases.....

all that good junk.... shifters... do I have to modify the body to make shifters or trannies work?

post up let me know..... I may convert to 5spd or fix the stock tranny... it just doesnt like working sometimes
Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working. Find a place to GET OUT, air up, un-lock hubs,  WAIT whats this, hubs are UN-LOCKED already. 2wd, 8psi, stock tires, Oregon sand dunes.
