i posted up something in the general forum not knowing there is a stolen vehicle forum.

A red 1989 Toyota 4runner was stolen from my apartment complex in newark ca at around 3:30am this morning. I have filed a police report and even went looking for it but nothing has been found. I'm expecting the worst (stripped and totally unusable) but hoping for the best (a stupid kid who was looking for a joy ride)

Good news, NorCalBorn just called and spoke to me and they found the 4Runner 4 blocks away!! The only thing missing was a high-lift jack and the battery

As for the other topics we discussed, someone would be really in a great place if they were to come up with the replacement dor and ignition lock barrels in a 1990's BMW type keyway.

Stronger, less easy to defeat, and best of all, none of the "Any Toyota Key Will Work" nonsense.

Same for the drivetrain topics, just call me through the customer info or via pm and I'll be happy to play beta rig for you guys.
