Get a second person to watch the slave cylinder as you push the pedal and watch for it to actuate.
Either the master or slave cylinder... I'm not too sure how you can tell which one it is specifically, unless you have a spare for something. Often times when the seals are blown and they don't effectively push fluid, it leaks out somewhere. So I would say track down any leaks. If there is fluid around either cylinder, then you know that one's the problem.
Sounds like it's time to rebuild the slave cylinder. It's really easy and only costs around $10 - $15 at your nearest parts store. That's where I would start.

well its def not leakin anywhere, dont see anything n i have never had to top off the fluid.
If it's the master, you'll probably find that your carpeting is soaked with fluid.....
