Rear Shock Position
« on: Feb 26, 2010, 07:34:23 PM »
Why do I see some trucks with the rear shocks mounted shaft upwards, while others are mounted with the shaft down? Are there advantages to both ways?

I run mine shaft up when they leak, I think it is personal preference and clearance issues. I've ran them both ways and it seems to perform the same.

Shaft down, clearance, and the thought is all the crap that gets on it, hopefully water will wash it away with the help of gravity. Easier on the wiper and seals.
Dr.Maxwe001 – well i have a 15 gal compressor now and if I gett he 60  and then use the 15 as a reserve that wil give me 75 gal  thats close to 80 isnt it ?
