i have a 3.8 motor in my truck my blower turns on and blows strong... i hear the vents opening up and changing from vent to heat and ac.... but my heat is not hot.... what should i look for i have never messed with heat ever...

it seems as though the lines are hooked to the engine and run into the cab as well...

any advice would help

Check and see if the valve on the firewall is opening. This valve controls the flow of coolant into the heater core. They sometimes rust closed so that even if you slide the lever to the hot side it will not open.

ok that sounds like a plan ive been researching and it looks like problem is normally that or a heater core being clogged
