With or without the rig? I didn't read the whole thread

If you're down for some beach - there's a really nice place in Pismo called Oceano Campgrounds. They got showers and sandy tent sites and they're right over the dune from the beach. You can even drive on the beach during the day :yesnod:

she can make it a few days, some of the people at my shop who just got back from afghanistan (i'm in iraq right now until august) had to go for 2-3 weeks without a bathroom on a regular basis.

go to lake tahoe and stay in a resort camp ground. they have showers and its only 3 min drive from the casinos and restaurants. If she hates it then you can go the back way home and hit the rubicon up.

i don't understand women that can't camp like normal human beings.

i'm a chick. i have a great understanding for wanting to be clean and fresh and whatever but seriously. you can't go two days without a shower? cry me a river!

women who refuse to camp with their friends and more importantly, their spouse/boyfriend/sig. other unless there is a toilet stall and a shower says one thing. they don't want to camp with you because it's more important to them that there be a lousy shower head and a pot to piss in.

nice to know some metal and a pile of ceramic is more important than a weekend+ with you, enjoying the nature/wild/bonding romance whatever that could be experienced if they camped like they're supposed to.  ::)

Lots of good suggestions here.  I appreciate it all.  I like the Pismo area and the Shaver lake suggestion.  Will look into those a bit.  I like that shower nate.  Good for her and looks like it packs small.
