v6 dual questions
« on: Feb 13, 2010, 10:53:41 PM »
ok  so iv got an 88 v6 and i am looking at putting dual t-cases on.im trying to weight my options. so i figured i would see what you guys thought or what you recomended. so im comparing  should i just buy the crawl box setup that marlin has for the v6 chain driver case. or should i get the adapter and convert it to 4cyl gear drive cases. what would be the pro's behind this or does it not matter. . so should i convert it to gear drive or just work with my chain drive?

:usa:i would ditch the stupid chain drive one..thats wat i did.. once  u add any reduction to ur truck this will cause the chain to streatch way faster and ur basically seting your self up for failure!!! run 2 gear driven cases..then get the all pro skidplate

If not in a big huury, I would send an email to Big Mike or Marlin himself  and see what they think.  If anyone knows the pros and cons, it would be them, and then you could decide which way to go.
